The number one reason people incorporate healthy vegan smoothies in their diet is that they are nutrient dense, packed full of vitamins, minerals, fiber, antioxidants, and water. Since you can prepare smoothies in seconds, they’re a great way to get your daily recommendations of fruits and veggies in. Depending on the ingredients you use, smoothies can serve many purposes. Need something detoxifying to help you slim down: add some leafy greens and herbs like parsley, cilantro, or mint to increase the fiber content and cleanse your system. Looking for a filling lunch on the go: add some nuts and seeds or avocados to boost the protein and healthy fats. Craving an energizing snack: add more fruit and some superfoods. INGREDIENTS

  • 1 1 frozen banana
  • 2 ½ cup frozen berries (of your choice)
  • 3 1 tbsp almond butter (or natural peanut butter)
  • 4 ¾ cup almond milk
  • 5 2 cups fresh spinach

DIRECTIONS

  • 1 To properly ensure that your greens are blended thoroughly, you can either add them last or first. If you decide to add them before anything else, be sure to add a little bit of milk to help the blending process; otherwise, they will catch on the sides of the blender.
  • 2 Once your greens are pulverized, add everything else until smooth. Top with some seeds or green tea powder for extra flavor.

  • 1 1 cup fresh spinach
  • 2 1 frozen banana
  • 3 ½ avocado
  • 4 ¼ cup almond milk
  • 5 ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 6 ¼ tsp cinnamon

DIRECTIONS

  • 1 In this case, the addition of an avocado means that you can blend everything together, as it will all stick well and won’t get separated too much. However, if you’re still worried, I recommend adding the greens last in this case.
  • 2 Blend everything until smooth. If you want to add a bit of zest to it, you can toss a couple of snickerdoodle cookies into the mix along with another ¼ cup of almond milk. Dust with cinnamon for some extra zest.

  • 1 Add the coconut milk to your blender jug, followed by the matcha green tea powder and spinach. Blend.

  • 5 ¼ cup (60 ml) pumpkin seeds (pepita seeds)
  • 6 2 tbsp (30 ml) hemp hearts (hulled hemp seeds)
  • 7 optional: ½ scoop vanilla protein powder + ¼ cup water

DIRECTIONS

  • 1 In a blender layer the spinach, banana, mango, pumpkin seeds, and hemp hearts.
  • 2 Add the almond milk and blend until the pumpkin seeds are really really smooth.

  • 7 ⅛ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

DIRECTIONS

  • 1 Place oats in blender and blend for about 30 seconds until finely chopped.
  • 2 Add remaining ingredients and blend until smooth. Serve immediately.

  • 1 1 carrot, peeled, sliced
  • 2 1 beet, peeled, sliced
  • 3 ½ cup red grapes
  • 4 1 clementine, peeled
  • 5 1 slice of ginger, peeled, about the size of a quarter

DIRECTIONS

  • 1 Steam carrot and beet until just tender, about 10-15 minutes, depending on how thick your slices are. Let cool.
  • 2 Place all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth.

  • 1 Blend all of the ingredients in your blender until you get a creamy consistency.

  • 2 2 bananas (can be substituted for ½ avocado)
  • 3 2 scoops protein
  • 4 1 cup ice cream (preferably similar flavor to the protein powder)
  • 5 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 7 4 tbsp peanut butter

DIRECTIONS

  • 1 Soak the oats before blending them.
  • 2 The protein powder and peanut butter should be added to the blender after some of the other ingredients have gone in to avoid them getting stuck to the bottom and being difficult to blend properly.

  • 1 First, prepare the orange - peel, and separate the segments.
  • 2 Add in the orange segments, cauliflower florets, pineapple, spinach, almond milk, and water, and blend on high in a high-speed blender until everything is smooth and creamy.

  • 2 1 cup frozen berries blackberry, raspberry & strawberry
  • 3 1/2 tbsp red beet Superjuice powder
  • 4 1/2 tbsp red beet Superjuice powder
  • 5 1/2 cup ice cubes

DIRECTIONS

  • 1 Simply add all ingredients into a blender and blend on high until smooth. Pour smoothie into two glasses. Top with more berries and enjoy.
